This large council owned estate in Kidbrooke consists of seven large apartment blocks, which are home to hundreds of people. The bricks and mortar have been subject to years of wind driven rain, frost and bio-growth. Both the bricks and mortar had degraded to a point where water was able to penetrate through to the interior.

Stormdry was used to protect new cavity wall insulation on a 1960s semi-detached council house. The original installation of the cavity wall insulation was damaged by extreme weather on an insufficiently weather proofed brickwork wall. Crawley Borough Council replaced the insulation and used Stormdry to waterproof the gable end of the house.

A chimney stack on a Grade II* listed building in West Sussex was suffering from penetrating damp. Damp was appearing on the internal chimney breast of an upstairs fireplace. A survey revealed that water had penetrated chimney stack, and down to the internal wall. Stormdry was applied using a brush in a single coat. The flaunching, brickwork, stonework and flues were all fully treated with the water-repellent cream.

Stormdry was used to treat damp walls at St. Anna's church in Łódź, Poland. Originally built in 1905 from local bricks and lime mortar, the church had darkened walls that were also being damaged by significant moss growth. The Parish Council organised renovation works and wanted the church walls restored and protected against penetrating damp and growth in the future.     

A historic shop in the town centre of Blackpool was being refurbished and the exposed brickwork and stonework needed protecting. RTC were called in to carry out the work, and they chose Stormdry masonry protection cream to meet the client specification. The damp brick and stone walls were successfully treated without altering the appearance of the building.

The Old Granary pub in Wareham, Dorset had a damp gable brick wall due to rain penetration. Stormdry Gauges were used to determine the brick and lime mortar wall was very porous. Stormdry masonry protection cream was used as an economical solution to treat the wall for dampness. The pub's appearance was preserved and the brickwork is now protected from damp.
